Invitation Link

This is what an invitation link looks like:

In order to use them correctly, it is important to understand the structure of the link:

  • In the first part we have the standard Discord link to authorize an application. OAuth2 to enter the Discord server.
  • In the second part we can highlight the "client_id"which is used to specify which application wants the authorization. This part of the link has to be replaced by the client ID of your application for the link to be valid.
  • In the third part, the most important part is the "space=bot"in which you are specifying that the application you want to access the server is a bot.

How to create and use your own invitation link?

As we mentioned earlier, one of the first things you will need to do is to replace the client_id parameter with the Client ID of your bot in order to create a correct invitation link.

To find the Client ID of your application, simply go to the section "My Apps" (My Applications), on the "Applications" (Applications). Once you are there select your application.

Enter the app ID in the link shown above and access it from your browser.
