How to Login to Discord?

Are you new to the application and don’t know how to log in to Discord?

Then, in this guide you will find all the information you need to solve your question, as we will explain you step by step and in detail everything you have to do to be able to log in to this platform.

Steps to log in to Discord

1. Open the Discord application/program

If you want to use Discord from your PC or Mac all you have to do is open the program as you would any other program; clicking its icon on the desktop or in the start menu.

In case you have not downloaded the program yet, then you will first have to download it from its official website (click here), and, once the download process is completed, run the program.

2. Enter your email address

The next step to access your Discord account, is to enter your email account in the blank field that says “email”.

Please note that you have to use the email account you used during your registration on the platform. If you have not yet created an account, you can do so very easily by selecting the “Register” option that appears on the screen.

3. Enter your password

In the same way you entered your email, now you will have to enter the password you chose when creating your account in the blank field that says “password”.

Please note that this field is case sensitive, so be sure to enter your password as you wrote it during the registration process.

4. Now log in

Once you have entered the information in the two fields above, all you have to do is select the “Login” option that appears on the button below the password field.

If you have entered the data correctly, you will be logged in, but if you have mistyped your email or password, you will get a message asking you to check that you have entered the information correctly.

Login using the Discord web application

Using the executable program on our PC, is not the only method we have available to be able to log in to Discord, since it can also be done through the web application; which means that you can access it from a web browser and without the need to have any program installed on your computer. This is also very useful in case you are using a computer that is not yours.

1. Open the web browser of your choice

To be able to log in from the web application you don’t have to use any specific browser, so you can use Firefox, Opera, Chrome or any other web browser of your preference (that is functional).

So to get started, all you have to do is open the web browser you want to use to open the Discord web application.

2. Go to the official website

As you do not have to download and install the program you will have to use it from its main website, so you have to go to to be taken to the platform’s home page.

3. Login

Instead of looking for the option to download the program, all you have to do is go to the “Login” option, which appears in the upper right-hand corner of the home page.

4. Enter your email and password

In the same way that you would log in if you were using the program installed on your computer, here you will have to enter your email address in the empty field that says “EMAIL”.

You will also need to enter your password in the empty “PASSWORD” field. Remember that this field is case sensitive, so be sure to write down your password carefully.

Don’t forget that you must have previously registered to be able to enter the data you used during your registration. In case you don’t have an account yet, simply select the option “Register” and create your account.

5. Sign in

If you have entered your account details correctly, you will now only need to click on the “Login” option to enter your account.

In case you have mistyped your password or email, you will be informed to review the information and try again.

6. Use your account

That’s it, this is all you have to do to be able to log into your Discord account through your program or the web application. To log in from the mobile app is exactly the same process, you just have to open the app, enter your data and log in.

As you can see, logging into Discord is a really simple process.
